Each year the 6th grade embarks on a 50's and 60's unit.
The students do various activities learning about characters and events the occurred during the 1950's and 1960's
The first event was a 50's/60's dress-up day.

Next, the students were assigned a specific character from the 50's and 60's to research. The students wrote an "I" report, did a display, and designed a gimmick for the character. The students presented a "Wax Museum" where they presented their pose, gimmick and "I" report. Family and friends were invited to watch the wax museum. Here are some pictures from the wax museum.
